The Origin Story

My love for travel started at 20 years old, when I backpacked to Hunza Valley, Pakistan, with a friend. Since then, I became amazed at how big the world is. With every step in a new place, I get to feel alive, experiencing the different landscape, food and culture, as well as make friends along the way.

I was lucky enough to study and work across the World and took those opportunities to travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. I often travel solo, not exactly on a budget, but also not luxuriously. I love different experiences, and I like to think of myself as half-Singaporean and a little of everywhere else.

The Singapore passport has consistently ranked among the strongest in the world for many years. For me, that strength has translated into something very simple: freedom. Freedom to decide late, to stay longer, and to go places without overthinking visas, paperwork, or approvals.

It was almost accidental that this domain was available when I came across it. I had already been thinking about starting a travel blog for a long time. When I saw strongestpassport.com was available, it immediately felt right. Not because I wanted to show off a ranking, but because it reflected how I actually experience travel—often with little planning.

This site is not meant to be another polished travel guide. I don’t write “10 things to do” lists or perfectly optimized itineraries. I write the way a normal person experiences a place while on vacation: sometimes unplanned, sometimes biased, often imperfect. I travel, I observe, and I reflect—without the pressure of turning every trip into content. If you prefer honest impressions over polished recommendations, you’ll probably enjoy reading along.
